Dominik Szoboszlai to Be Immortalized in Wax at Madame Tussauds Budapest

Madame Tussauds Budapest has officially confirmed the circulating news: Dominik Szoboszlai, captain of the Hungarian national football team and star midfielder for Liverpool FC, will soon be immortalized in wax.

The internationally renowned footballer has already made two discreet visits to the 250-year-old brand’s workshops, where he spent several hours in the studios. During these sessions, hundreds of reference photos were taken and precise body measurements recorded to ensure the utmost realism. Szoboszlai’s wax figure will be unveiled to the public on the 19th of November.

The new figure will become a permanent part of the Dorottya Street attraction and represents the first-ever wax figure of Dominik Szoboszlai in the global Madame Tussauds collection. From the 19th of November, football fans will have the opportunity to meet the lifelike figure, take photos, and experience the artistry up close.

Madame Tussauds Budapest currently features more than 60 figures, including international superstars, political leaders, and Hungary’s most celebrated cultural, scientific, and sporting icons.

Szoboszlai will join an elite line-up that includes football legend Ferenc Puskás, three-time Olympic boxing champion László Papp, and triple Olympic gold medalist swimmer Katinka Hosszú. The attraction is also home to global sports icons such as Usain Bolt, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo.
